Common Michaelmas-Daisy, Aster x salignus (24/07/2022) Widewater Lagoon, Shoreham-by-Sea, W Sussex. Loads of it near the lagoons. It's not Sea Aster because the phyllaries are wrong for that (see later images) and also Sea Aster tends to have more flamboyant disk florets.
