Meadow Pipit (Anthus pratensis) (22/04/2007) Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex. Tree pipits look similar but are slightly yellowy-brown and have a whiter belly with finely streaked flanks, not bold streaking like this.

Meadow Pipit (Anthus pratensis) (08/05/2008) Shoreham Beach near the fort. Weird location for a meadow pipit but was messing about amonst the kelp - evidently found a new habitat with lots of insects which dwell within the seaweed that washes up onto the shingle.
