Lapwing / Peewit (Vanellus vanellus) (29/06/2008) RSPB Pulborough Brooks. Normally a bird of pasture land, but the lack of pasture land means they are increasingly found in wetland areas - probably the only wildish places left and with the right food: worms and insects.
