Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) - family "Ardeidae" (22/12/2005) Driftway, Upper Beeding, Steyning (garden). A pretty sizeable bird. It is casing the joint as there is a pond just down from the fence where he has landed. Lots of problems with them here catching our fish and damaging the pond liner!
