Greater between 5 and 12, here around 10. Greater has uniformly dark yellow flowers with some orange stripes, Common BFT flowers instead are smaller and usually have orange/pink tones.

Of particular note for ID purposes are these sepals, some recurved, the other two with an acute-angled notch between them. The sepals are green, unlike Common BFT that usually has pink/orange tinged sepals. They vary in hairyness.

There are more flowers in the Common one than I'd expect though.
